2010 Favorite Image Blog Contest

Every January I go through all my session and pick out my very favorite images, its hard because there are images from every session that I simply adore...ones that make me giggle, ones that make me sigh, ones that bring tears to my eyes and ones that touch my heart...and every year the images are so different, some years I gravitate towards babies some years older kids but for some reason this year most of my favs were images of families and relationships, so as I started to pick my favs it turned into all families and relationships...so without further ado here are my top pics from 2010 that touched my heart.

okay if Ive said it once, if Ive said it a billion times....I LOVE RED HEADS...okay there I said it again :) When mom jumped out of the car and turned around with her in her arms, I just went to total mush, mush I tell ya!! well look at her dont tell me you wouldnt have either....MUSH!!

I had such a fabulous time at this session...new location and I got to process my images a bit differently, this gorgeous child is my niece, and no I'm not partial shes gorgeous!! Mom wanted a more vintage feel so we picked the best location and here they are all in there vintage glory...

Ive photographed the little girls 4 times and each and every time we have so much fun...mom meet me for a quick session this evening and the weather was fabulous and man Ive never answered so many questions these girls were full of them....I always love getting to play with them again...thanks mom for choosing me again to capture them, I always have a ton of fun..hope you little squirrels liked the skittles...

Cypress Family Photographer l Toddlers on the run...

I photographed a gorgeous family today and when I say toddlers on the run I mean toddlers on the run..it was like herding cats....I forget how fast little boys are...they are FAST!! None the less they were gorgeous, like out of a magazine gorgeous!! The light was perfect, the weather was ideal and I had so much fun, I love it when I can capture family images like this it melts my heart and then watching these little guys play it reminds me of when my big huge teenage boys were that small...and make my heart get all mushy..Here is your sneak peek, thank you again for allowing me to capture your beautiful family I had a wonderful time!!

I had a super fun session this evening with a sweet family. These 2 little girls were a ball of energy, they kept all of us hopping. Big sister was so much fun and was really into the fish and wasn't scared of them at all....the little one, I have never heard a one year old speak like this one did....when we first arrived I said oh look at the pretty flowers and that little stinker said FLOWER...plain as day I about fell over..I had to ask again if she was one...she could say more words that any one year I have ever heard, I was so impressed.....Here is your sneak peek, thank you again for choosing me to photograph your beautiful family...
