Day 3 update....

Im going to try and post updates for everyone, I have many readers out of the area and are trying to get through to check on everyone.

We have Power!! wahoo.....but 90% of this area does not have power. The Stonegate subdivision has minor-major damage to roofs and property we have lost lots of trees and fences. I have not heard of anyone being hurt which is a miracle. Our neighbors.........as I was typing this we lost power for a bit, its back on.....okay.....our neighbors ceiling collapsed due to water leaking through their roof, I am hearing alot of these stories as Im getting phone calls from friends, clients and family.

I went to the grocery store yesterday just to see if they might be open and they were, I have to give Randalls a big pat on the back, that store was a mad house but they were open and people were getting much needed supplies. Gas was limited but available here and there. I had many friends without power so we had a wonderfully full house yesterday we ate and visited and as their power returned many went home, most of Kendres friends stayed and slept over. This storm was incredible, seeng that it was only a cat 2, it was extremely powerful. We had winds of up to 110mph and we got during the hurricane 11 inches of rain, then we had a nasty Thunderstorm that came through yesterday that dumped 7 more inches, the lighting from that storm was insane. Today is a very pleasent day there was a cold front that came though and brought some much needed cold weather.

I will post later on today, the power keeps flickering and I dont want to take any chances.

Kim, I am so glad to hear you are safe! We were very lucky here in our part of Katy. Unfortunately, others around us were not so lucky. I have everything I need here and will be happy to get to our local store and pick up what you or your neighbors need. Please call me and tell me what I can get you. Milk, etc. Thanks.
