{ The wheels on the bus....go to school, go to school.... }

Well many of you cried, cheered, laugh, ran off screaming, as the ever so popular yellow bus drove off today. Then many of us in Cy-fair walked the 19 blocks back to our houses after the new bus stop have been changed...even though my kids are older and are in Jr high and high school, its hard to let them walk where I cant keep an eye on them as they get on the bus. Ever fiber in me wanted to walk them to the bus stop but Austin said "mom we aren't babies, we can walk by ourselves, plus we have our phones we can call you..." so I talked them into letting me walk to the corner, but I promised not to round the corner, as if seeing your friends mom might make your face melt and your hair catch on fire...As they rounded the corner I peeked, not to make sure they were safe, to make sure they weren't fighting and they caught me, they were walking backwards, just to see if I was still coming, then I heard the familiar "MOM STOP IT ! " so I gave up and went inside and waited for the phone call, it came in the form of a text...{ MOM we weren't kidnapped were on the bus...love, us }

I hope everyone has a great first day of school, I know I'm looking forward to sneaking a peek at { Ellen }, taking a shower without someone banging on the door, someone asking me can you drive me to so and so's...and not hearing this " Mom I am so BORED....can we go somewhere? "
