My "baby" girl had her first Homecoming dance this weekend...I cant believe how grown up she is...and isn't.....It was fun to see her get all ready, do her hair and makeup and then they wanted to go out to eat all by themselves, the grown up part, so I dropped them off and then picked them up when they were all fin shed eating, the not so grown up part, they didn't want to be on-time/early to the dance so Ms. K asked if they could walk around Target for awhile...lol....no prob..so we walked around target, I stayed the protocoled 15 feet away and we found out weren't the only ones not wanting to be early, there were a group of boy wondering around not wanting to be on time....after a reasonable amount if time the girls decided it was time to head to the dance....the not so grown up part, she said I love you mommie as she waved good-bye when she got out of the car...the grown up part, they walked through the metal detectors to get into the dance....they grow fast, hold on tight!
